The ASOIF Sports Development and Education Group (ASDEG)
The ASDEG was created in 2012.
It is responsible for giving expert advice in the area of Sports Development and Education.
Chaired by Ms Deqa Niamkey, Development Director at United World Wrestling (UWW) , the group meets twice a year and organises an annual forum for all ASOIF member IFs to coordinate their approaches and share knowledge in sports development and education.
Members of the group are:
- Polona Cehovin, High Performance and Development Director of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF)
- Shiny Fang, Secretary General of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon (UIPM)
- Colin Grahamslaw, Secretary General of the World Curling Federation (WCF)
- Juan Carlos Holgado, TD and Olympic Games Director of the World Archery (WA)
- Kevin Kilty, Training Manager of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF)
- Jock Peggie, Training Manager of the World Rugby (WR)
- Jeongkang Seo, Deputy Secretary General of the World Taekwondo (WT)
- Jon Wyatt, Sport and Development Director of the International Hockey Federation (FIH)
