The ASOIF Legal Consultative Group (ALCG)

The ALCG was created in May 2011 to provide legal advice and information on sports legal issues that are of common interest to the ASOIF Members. The group also monitors legal matters which may impact IFs.

Chaired by Mr Antonio Arimany, Secretary General of the International Triathlon Union (ITU), the group usually meets twice a year. 

Members of the group are:

• Valérie Horyna, Senior Legal Counsel of International Hockey Federation (FIH)
• Alex McLin, Executive Director of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA)
• Jon Napier, Governance & Rules Consultant of the World Sailing (WS)
• Gordon Rapp, Legal Commission Member of the International Fencing Federation (FIE)
• Mikael Rentsch, Legal Director of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI)
• Huw Roberts, Legal Counsel of the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU)
